Website Evaluation

Due Thu, Sep 24th

Create a rubric for the purpose of evaluation of an educational/children's academic website. Select and review and educational or children's academic website. Use the rubric to evaluate it and provide a written critique of the site.

A rubric is a scoring tool that lists the criteria for a piece of work or "what counts" (for example, purpose, organization, details, voice, and mechanics are often counted in a piece of writing); it also articulates gradations of quality for each criterion, from excellent to poor.
What is not a rubric? Check-offs with keys show criteria and levels, but not learner-centric to show descriptively what the 'grade' means (descriptive gradations of quality).
